Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate all nursing services
  • Provide direction in the development and management of personnel within responsible departments
  • Oversee inpatient nursing units' budget development, implementation, and compliance
  • Serve as a liaison between staff, physicians, patients, and family members
  • Prepare and present operational and financial reports/projects as required
  • Stay abreast of changes in healthcare and nursing
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Nursing or Health Administration
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Mississippi Board of Nursing
  • Extensive knowledge of nursing and healthcare
  • Working knowledge of budgeting, financial analysis, goal setting, and personnel management
  • Working knowledge of computers and computer software (i.e. Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, etc.)
