About the Job

As a Restaurant General Manager at Taco Bell, you will be responsible for leading a team of employees to deliver exceptional customer experiences, drive sales and profits, and maintain a safe and positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day operations of a Taco Bell restaurant, ensuring customer satisfaction and profit maximization.
  • Enforce and execute all Federal and California Labor Laws within the restaurant.
  • Train employees, respond to customer service needs, and model appropriate behaviors in the restaurant.
  • Build a culture of recognition, motivate the team, and drive results through others.
  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels, ensure training and on-boarding of new Team Members, and provide leadership and coaching to develop capable Managers and Team Members.
  • Deliver a consistent customer experience, ensure complete and timely execution of corporate and local marketing programs, and maintain a safe working and customer experience environment.
  • Control day-to-day operations, schedule labor, order food and supplies, and ensure local health and safety codes and company safety and security policies are met.
  • Drive customer-focused culture, serve as a role model in resolving serious customer issues, and train managers to meet or exceed customer service standards.
  • Build SMART action plans to resolve issues in the restaurant, monitor restaurant Speed with Service (SWS) performance, and provide coaching to meet performance targets.
  • Grow the brand, sales, and profits by controlling profit and loss, following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking appropriate actions.
Requirements
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Good oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, and exceptional team building capability.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision-making skills.
  • Basic personal computer literacy.
  • Passionate about providing excellence in execution of quality food, service, cleanliness, and speed standards.
  • Dynamic, energetic, and positive leader, self-starter, proactive, and driven to get things done and do the right thing for the business.
