Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of financial aid professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and timely processing of financial aid applications.

• Collaborate with Enrollment Management and Business Office teams to develop and implement strategies to increase student enrollment and retention.

• Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including lenders, guaranty agencies, and state and federal agencies.

• Stay up-to-date on changes in financial aid regulations and best practices, ensuring the department remains compliant and efficient.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Higher Education, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in Financial Aid, preferably in a private institution of higher education.

• Proven track record of successfully managing financial aid operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, staff, and external partners.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with financial aid management software, including PowerFAIDS and COD.

• Knowledge of Title IV regulations and reconciliation of Title IV funds.

• Familiarity with data analysis and reporting, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
