Hospice Director - RN Job Description

LHC Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to fill the role of Hospice Director. This position is responsible for overseeing and directing the patient care operations of the home care facility under the direction of the Home Health Executive Director.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a hospice, home health, or other healthcare service delivery system setting, as well as 2 years of healthcare leadership experience. A current CPR certification and a valid driver's license are also required.

The Hospice Director will be responsible for coordinating and completing assigned projects to support the company's immediate and long-range objectives. They will also oversee the eligibility of patients referred to home care services, plan for the services to be provided, and supervise the total home health care.

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to create strategies that drive best-in-class care for patients and families. They will also have flexibility for true work-life balance and opportunities for career and leadership development.
