Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Production Operator to join our team at Land O'Lakes, Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing various manufacturing processes that add value and quality to our inputs and create our final high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform manufacturing processes with attention to detail and a focus on quality and sanitation
  • Operate various pieces of high-tech manufacturing processing and packaging equipment, including baggers, palletizers, and cookers
  • Follow manufacturer's specifications and directions to ensure accurate and efficient production
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing production schedules and priorities
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve production goals and maintain a safe working environment
Requirements
  • 18 years or older
  • 6+ months of manufacturing experience
  • Basic computer skills and ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to work in cold and/or hot temperatures and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of continuous prior experience in any industry
  • Self-reliant and able to accurately work under limited supervision
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical problems and communicate work order progress to supervisor and production operators
  • Customer-focused and able to work in a collaborative team environment
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent movement, including walking, standing, bending, and lifting
  • Ability to work in environments with dust and varying temperatures
  • Shift schedules that include days, nights, and weekends, with some holidays and periodic overtime
