Warehouse Worker Role at Volt Workforce Solution

The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse experience and be proficient in operating equipment such as forklifts, stock pickers, reach trucks, and pallet jacks. As a GIG Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for receiving, locating, picking, packing, and shipping products accurately and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, locate, pick, pack, and ship products
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts, stock pickers, reach trucks, and pallet jacks
  • Prepare inventory, parts, and merchandise for shipment
  • Accurately pick merchandise from warehouse locations using forklifts, stock pickers, reach trucks, and pallet jacks
  • Transport inventory utilizing warehouse equipment to and from loading/unloading/staging areas
  • Use RF devices to track inventory
  • Operate safely, adhering to all OSHA and site-specific standards

Requirements:

  • Previous forklift experience preferred, Hi-Reach a plus
  • Training length dependent on experience
  • Ability to push, pull, bend, stand, twist, lift up to 40 lbs. repeatedly during the shift in the warehouse
  • Steel toes required

Compensation:

The estimated hourly pay rate for this position is $19 per hour. The actual pay rate will be based on several factors, including education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, and other qualifications.
