The Department of State Hospitals is seeking highly motivated and compassionate individuals to fill multiple Permanent-Full time vacancies for Psychiatric Technician (Safety) positions in various Programs within the Hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct care and support to patients with mental health conditions, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor patients' behavior and report any concerns to supervisors.
- Participate in treatment planning and implementation, including developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Valid license to practice as a Psychiatric Technician issued by the BVNPTE.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
