Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Systems Integration & Test Engineer to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. As a key member of our Mission Systems team, you will play a critical role in the development and integration of advanced telecommunication processing cloud-based systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply your systems integration and test experience to support product integration, verification, deployment, and sustainment of our advanced telecommunication processing cloud-based systems.
  • Contribute to and be an integral part of multi-discipline engineering project teams and be challenged by real-work assignments.
  • Develop and execute system integration & test plans/procedures for both laboratory and field environments for demonstration and/or requirement sell-off.
  • Perform technical research, develop technical documentation, presentations, and lead concept demonstrations.
  • Contribute to technical proposals and request for information responses, and support development of draft technical volumes and cost basis of estimates.
  • Learn telecommunication signal processing principles and concepts and expand your knowledge in modern telecommunication signal processing techniques and in telecommunication, mobile and cloud network architectures.
  • Travel up to 25% travel time to other AST sites and customer sites to support customers meetings and demonstrations, system deployments (installation, integration/validation/verification).
Qualifications
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 6 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience performing system integration, verification/validation, deployment and/or sustainment of telecommunications signal processing cloud-based systems (AWS, Snowball).
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
