The Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) department is seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies. As a member of our team, you'll work closely with physicists, design engineers, and superconducting foundry engineers to design, develop, and integrate complex systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and support the core functions to ensure the project team has qualified staff to execute the program core functions.
  • Support close out program reviews, including SRR, SFR, SDR, PDR, CDR, SVR, TRR, peer reviews, Pre-test reviews, Post Test Reviews, Pre-Ship reviews, etc.
  • Ensure system technical compliance with the program Statement of Work (SOW) and system requirements.
  • Manage the vertical and horizontal technical integration throughout the product teams and program life cycle.
  • Oversee configuration management of the overall Program Baseline.
  • Serve as the Logistics and Supportability Interface, ensuring that all applicable specialty engineering disciplines horizontally integrate across applicable phases of the program lifecycle.
  • Collect, manage, and report the program metrics and Technical Performance Measures (TPMs).
  • Manage risk and opportunity and the production of core engineering work products and track the work products and associated program dependencies in the program schedule.
  • Oversee the establishment and execution of the program lifecycle and work products.
  • Support the transition of the project to the operations, maintenance, and sustainment stakeholders.
  • Coordinate between the System Architect, Chief Engineer, Product Team Lead(s), program manager, and customer to ensure the integrity and executability of the program technical baseline.
  • Align measurement objectives and activities to meet program performance goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 5 years of experience, a Master's degree in a STEM discipline with 3 years of experience, or a PhD in a STEM discipline with 0 years of experience.
  • Demonstrated Model Based Systems Engineering (SysML) experience.
  • Demonstrated experience working with CAMEO.
  • Demonstrated Requirements Management from Elicitation to Verification.
  • Demonstrated Backlog Planning and Management.
  • Experience in systems development, integration, and test.
  • This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen with an active DoD TS/SCI with poly security clearance business requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Risk and Opportunity Management experience.
  • Experience leading technical teams.
  • Demonstrated experience with Systems Development Lifecycle, Focus on SRR to CDR.
  • Knowledge of Systems Engineering processing from generation of an Integrated Master Plan (IMP) to Work Product Breakdown into Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for the development of complex systems of systems.
  • Master's degree or PhD in STEM or technical management.
  • Understanding of DoD systems engineering requirements (UAF).
  • Multi-Disciplinary Engineering exposure (Software, Hardware, Electrical) and strong ability to communicate cross-functionally. Experience managing contracts of $10M+.

Salary Range: $102,400 - $160,900

Salary Range 2: $127,000 - $199,600
