Job Title: Restaurant Cook

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced cook to join our team at Uptown Blanco Arts & Entertainment, Ltd. As a Restaurant Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality menu items according to standard recipes and presentation specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure that all interactions with visitors, vendors, and colleagues are professional and friendly.
  • Prepare and cook menu items, including grilling, broiling, or sautéing.
  • Guarantee quality food is supplied by adhering to specified storage and waste control requirements.
  • Portion and prepare food items, including fish, beef, chicken, pork, etc., as prescribed by company specifications.
  • Perform related work as assigned and as circumstance requires.

Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members.
  • Prior experience in the food service industry is preferred.
  • Able to understand and comply with kitchen sanitation, safety, and equipment usage, and food storage.
  • Possesses a strong work ethic and has high attention to detail.
