Executive Chef

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Uptown Blanco Arts & Entertainment. As an integral member of our culinary staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality food products are prepared and presented to our guests.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional cooking skills, with the ability to create innovative dishes that showcase our restaurant's unique flavor profile. You will work closely with our kitchen staff to maintain a clean and efficient workspace, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

• Culinary Expertise: Develop and implement menus that highlight our restaurant's specialties, using only the freshest ingredients available.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and train junior chefs, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet our high standards.
• Maintenance and Organization: Ensure all kitchen areas are clean and organized, maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.
• Scheduling and Planning: Assist in scheduling kitchen staff and planning menus for special events and seasonal changes.

• Culinary Education: A degree in culinary arts or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Work Experience: At least 3 years of experience as a chef or sous chef in a similar establishment.
• Licenses and Certifications: Valid Food Handler's Certificate and any other relevant certifications.
• Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
