Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and regularly update the current Critical Path Method (CPM) schedule at the job site under the guidance of the Project Manager.
  • Facilitate coordination of subcontractors' work schedules as directed by the Project Superintendent.
  • Organize the scheduling of equipment and materials in alignment with the Project Superintendent's directives.
  • Ensure all submittals and shop drawings are timely and accurate.
  • Prepare and submit precise reports and forms as required by both Corporate and Regional offices, tailored to the specific project needs.
  • Continuously update and maintain the master drawing set.
  • Examine construction documents and drawings to anticipate potential field issues; identify discrepancies between construction documents and actual field conditions; effectively communicate findings to the Architect, Project Superintendent, and Project Manager.
  • Review submittals and shop drawings to ensure compliance with contract specifications.
  • Draft Requests for Information (RFIs) as instructed by the Project Superintendent.
  • Engage in all on-site meetings, including pre-trade, subcontractor, and Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Fundamental understanding of the construction sector.
  • Comprehension of essential business operations and procedures.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a proven track record of managing diverse teams.
  • Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technologies, codes, and standards, along with a thorough understanding of the interrelationships among various functional units.
  • A four-year degree in construction management or equivalent technical training and relevant experience.
