Concrete Paving Technician

Southwest Concrete Paving Co. is seeking a skilled Concrete Paving Technician to join our team. As a key member of our survey team, you will assist with all aspects of site survey for concrete pavement and associated base and subbase layers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with construction layout, existing topos, and as-built data
• Plan and conduct ground surveys to establish baselines, elevations, and other geodetic measurements
• Establish survey control for use in construction projects
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Project Superintendents, and Project Engineers to ensure project success
• Perform additional assignments as directed by Managers

Requirements:

• Experience with Trimble, Topcon, or Leica software products is preferred
• Ability to use Leica GPS and conventional surveying/layout equipment
• Knowledge of basic equipment such as total stations, radio communicators, data collectors
• Proficiency with Microsoft Software
• Knowledge of utilizing string-less 3D paving is preferred
