Job Overview:
The Specimen Collector is a key role at Millennium Health, providing exemplary care and exceptional customer service to patients, clinicians, and our laboratory. As a representative of the company, this position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate complex medical terminology.

In this role, you will collect patient blood, urine, and/or oral fluid specimens, process and package collections or shipping, and serve as an intermediary between the practice/clinic and the laboratory. You will also record patient information, physician order details, and pertinent laboratory information, resolving specimen concerns with billing or patient information in the ordering portal.

A successful Specimen Collector must be able to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
