Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Nurse to join our team at Prisma Health Richland Hospital. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in an intensive care unit (ICU) setting.

Estimated Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description

As a critical care nurse, your primary responsibility will be to assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans that address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of critically ill patients. You will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure seamless transitions of care, coordinate diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, and communicate effectively with patients and families.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • 1+ years of ICU experience, preferably in a stepdown unit
  • Critical care certification, such as CCRN or PCCN
  • Epic experience required
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team

Schedule Information

This is a 13-week contract position with guaranteed hours. The schedule will include working two of the three major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day), based on facility policy. Candidates must have availability for a full 13-week contract and be willing to commit to the entire duration of the assignment.
