As a Law Enforcement Specialist in the U.S. Army, you'll play a vital role in maintaining order and protecting lives on military installations.

The estimated salary for this position is $40,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and location.

About the Job

Military police officers enforce laws and regulations, control traffic, prevent crime, and respond to emergencies. Your duties will include:

  • Conducting law enforcement patrols
  • Interviewing witnesses, victims, and suspects in investigations
  • Securing and processing crime scenes
  • Arresting and charging criminal suspects

You'll receive 20 weeks of training at One Station Unit Training, followed by on-the-job instruction in police methods. You'll learn essential skills such as:

  • Basic warrior skills and firearms training
  • Military and civil laws and jurisdiction
  • Investigating and collecting evidence
  • Traffic and crowd control
  • Arrest and restraint techniques
