Some of the key responsibilities of a Military Police Officer include enforcing military laws and regulations, controlling traffic, preventing crime, and responding to emergencies.

Job Duties:

  • Law enforcement patrols
  • Interviewing witnesses, victims, and suspects in investigations
  • Crime scene security and processing
  • Aresting and charging criminal suspects

Requirements:

  • Complete the ASVAB assessment to identify suitable Army jobs

Training:

  • 20 weeks of One Station Unit Training and on-the-job instruction in police methods

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Interest in law enforcement
  • Ability to make quick decisions
  • Remain calm under heavy duress
  • Ability to interact well with people

To be eligible for this position, you must enlist in the United States Army, be between 17-34 years old, possess a high school diploma or GED, and meet Army height and weight standards.

The estimated annual salary for this role is around $40,000-$60,000, depending on factors such as location and experience.
