Job Summary:

This part-time position involves the maintenance of stored-product insect cultures at the Stored Product Research Laboratory. Responsibilities include:
1. Overseeing and performing various tasks within the Stored Product Entomology Laboratories.
2. Keeping detailed records of insect cultures and collaborating with the laboratory team through electronic communication.
3. Coordinating, supervising, and training staff members.

About the Department:

The Department of Entomology & Plant Pathology provides undergraduate students with three degree options in Entomology, offering hands-on experiences and interactive learning opportunities. Graduate students can pursue two master's and two doctoral programs.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 2 years of post-secondary education, preferably in agriculture, biology, or a related field.
- Valid driver's license and reimbursement for official travel.
- Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions; proficiency in counting large quantities of insects.

Preferred Qualifications:
- A minimum of 6 months of relevant work experience is preferred.
