The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Meeting and exceeding the financial objectives of the station.
- Enhancing audience engagement by addressing community interests.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Training, managing, and inspiring all station personnel, including the sales team.
- Exploring and developing alternative revenue streams.
Building strong relationships with local advertisers is essential. A minimum of four years in a comparable role within a television station or senior management experience in broadcasting is required, along with a solid sales background.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of modern broadcasting metrics and be ready to drive growth through community engagement, a robust news presence, and effective use of multiple networks and digital platforms.
