Role Overview
The Manufacturing Process Analyst is tasked with enhancing the Processing department through innovative practices and advancements in operational procedures, equipment, and settings. This position requires a proactive approach to support leadership in project management and data reporting while maintaining a collaborative spirit across various departments. The Manufacturing Process Analyst will report directly to the Processing Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Procedures & Coordination
This role is dedicated to the organization, monitoring, and documentation of innovations within the Processing department.
Engage in research and development initiatives aimed at optimizing departmental processes to bolster operational efficiency.
Responsibilities include collaborating with departmental leaders to initiate and oversee testing and projects, gathering and analyzing data, and communicating findings effectively.
Ensure accurate tracking of process tests and projects, while providing detailed reports that elucidate supply, cost, and quality implications.
Work within the Process Analyst Committee to align with Processing leadership and prioritize critical projects.
Training and Development
This position will receive guidance and training from the Processing Manager and Senior Managers. Active participation in training is essential to uphold high standards of processing practices and compliance.
Training will encompass PharmaCann's mission and leadership development, as well as understanding regulatory compliance within the department.
Maintenance of Workspace and Materials
This role is responsible for the upkeep and tracking of assigned process tests and projects.
Utilize provided equipment and supplies according to training, and report any malfunctions to leadership.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of processing equipment and work areas as directed.
Communicate effectively with the Processing Manager and relevant stakeholders regarding project updates.
Compliance and Documentation
Follow directives from Processing leadership to ensure adherence to current laws and regulations governing the processing facility.
Adapt to changes in regulations to implement safe and effective practices that maintain high-quality standards.
Regularly update and track necessary information in compliance documentation and reporting tools.
Address and resolve any compliance or safety issues promptly, ensuring communication with appropriate leadership.
Supervision and Work Environment
This position operates under the direct supervision of the Processing Manager and is expected to adhere to company policies.
Work conditions involve using computers and tools while seated or standing for extended periods, navigating an indoor agricultural and manufacturing environment.
Physical requirements include the ability to kneel, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed, with consistent attendance for scheduled shifts.
Qualifications
Experience
Preferred candidates will have at least 3 months of experience with PharmaCann and 1 year in agricultural or manufacturing settings.
Experience in a fast-paced production environment is essential, demonstrating the ability to meet productivity and performance standards.
Candidates should exhibit professionalism and respect in all communications.
Education
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
