A Technical Support Specialist serves as the primary liaison between Doral Health & Wellness users and the information technology (IT) division. The ideal candidate should possess an Associate's degree in information technology along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical support role.
Key Responsibilities for Technical Support Specialist
- Efficiently manage Help Desk tickets
- Install and provide support for PCs, printers, tablets, and desktops
- Address customer inquiries via phone and email
- Assist in the setup of new computers and onboarding of new users
- Deliver both remote and on-site technical assistance
- Troubleshoot and configure printers
- Repair hardware and software issues with vendor support
- Follow up with users to confirm resolution of issues
Qualifications and Skills for Technical Support Specialist
- A+ Certification or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer designation is preferred
- Must have a vehicle
- At least 2 years of experience in a technical support environment
- Willingness to work on-site
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Proficient in diagnosing and resolving basic technical issues
- Understanding of Local Area Network (LAN) implementation
- Experience with SonicWALL systems
- Able to work collaboratively as well as independently
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle required
