About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Guest Services Assistant Manager to join our team at Four Seasons Resort Hualalai. As a key member of our Rooms team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, ensuring seamless operations, and leading a team of dedicated professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, train, and motivate employees to provide exceptional guest service and ensure thorough understanding of all duties and responsibilities.
  • Manage the Guest Services team, directing all activities to ensure effective communication, problem-solving, and follow-up on guest requests and special requirements.
  • Interview, train, and schedule staff, conduct performance evaluations, and discipline staff when necessary.
  • Review and monitor staff schedules, ensuring standards are met, staff is supported, and guest needs are met.
  • Resolve customer complaints and handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible.
  • Coordinate arrivals and departures, ensuring any discrepancies are resolved, and reviewing daily arrivals to ensure proper handling of special attention guests, return guests, groups, curb sides, and club guests.
  • Take action in all matters related to guest safety, security, satisfaction, and well-being when senior managers are not available, responding swiftly and effectively in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
  • Check in and out guests from their rooms, ensuring all check-in and check-out standards are met, and assist valet and door attendants in ensuring check-in and check-out standards are met.
  • Utilize various computer systems to ensure guests are checked into the appropriate room.

Requirements:

  • Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States.
  • Ability to accurately read and work with computer systems.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and 10-key by touch.
  • Valid driver's license.
