Join the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) team as an Accountant III, providing financial support for the Office of the General Assembly and the Presbyterian Historical Society.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and analyze per capita apportionment billing for each presbytery, ensuring accurate recording and reconciliation of receipts.
- Assist in developing the annual operating budget for the Office of the General Assembly and the Presbyterian Historical Society, monitoring monthly activity and investigating budget variances.
- Support the biennial General Assembly special event budget, ensuring proper account coding and transaction oversight.
- Review and authorize journal entries for the Office of the General Assembly and the Presbyterian Historical Society, preparing and importing vouchers as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in accounting or a related field, with a strong understanding of non-profit accounting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
