As a member of the AI Lab, you will seek to understand and solve business problems at their earliest stage, distinguishing Crowe in the market and driving the firm's technology and innovation strategy. About the Role As a Tech Lead in the AI Lab, you will play a pivotal role in steering early-stage projects from concept to validation. Your leadership will guide a team of machine learning engineers through the initial phases of data and m odel exploration, setting the foundation for scalable AI solutions. Lead the exploration and evaluation of early-stage data, ensuring the integrity and applicability for m odel development. Document findings and provide strategic recommendations to business stakeholders, outlining potential paths forward, technological capabilities, and relevant limitations. Engage with your team to derive realistic effort estimates, embracing the iterative nature of early-stage AI development. Participate in ethical, risk, and security discussions to ensure all solutions meet Crowe's high standards. Facilitate meetings with business stakeholders to refine project objectives and demonstrate preliminary results. Ensure a s eamless transition of validated concepts to the AI Development team for full-scale implementation. Actively contribute to the professional growth and development of your team members via code review and coaching. Required Skills Proven ability to lead technical projects and execute tasks autonomously amidst ambiguity. Strong foundation in Python programming and version control with Git. Excellent communication skills, adept at summarizing complex technical details for non-technical audiences. Strategic thinker, capable of linking technical findings to business objectives. Proven leadership in managing technical teams, with a focus on innovation and strategic analysis. Preferred Skills Expertise in prompt engineering and familiarity with tools like Enterprise ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, and Azure AI Studio. Previous experience in a professional services environment. Background in business analysis, with a knack for translating business needs into technical requirements.
