Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team at GPAC. As a key member of our commercial insurance team, you will be responsible for managing a select portfolio of high-end commercial lines clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our commercial lines clients, providing exceptional service and support to ensure their needs are met.
  • Business Development: Identify growth opportunities for our commercial lines department, including cross-selling and expanding coverage options.
  • Operational Efficiency: Develop and implement processes to enhance the efficiency and productivity of our commercial lines team.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our Director of Commercial Lines to oversee day-to-day operations and drive the achievement of agency goals and performance objectives.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate and analyze monthly reports to assess progress toward departmental goals and identify areas for improvement.
  • Carrier Relationships: Foster strong relationships with insurance carriers to ensure optimal coverage options for our clients.
  • Team Management: Provide ongoing training and support to ensure optimal utilization of our agency management system and carrier websites.
  • Staff Development: Participate in annual staff evaluations and contribute to the hiring and training of new team members.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial lines insurance.
  • An active P&C license.
  • Proficiency with Applied Epic (strongly preferred).
  • Self-motivation and a strong sense of accountability.
  • Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Outstanding problem-solving and customer service abilities.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
