Job Title: Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Project Engineer to support our government projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of engineering projects, ensuring they meet technical specifications, quality standards, and compliance with government regulations.
  • Provide engineering expertise during all project phases, including design, development, and implementation.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Identify project risks and issues, propose solutions, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Conduct regular inspections and assessments to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
  • 2-4 years of experience in project engineering or related roles, preferably within the government contracting sector.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and project management methodologies.
  • Proficiency in project management software and engineering design tools.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Security clearance or eligibility to obtain one is preferred.

Supervisory Responsibility: This position has supervisory responsibilities.
