Job Summary: Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to provide medical services at schools in New Haven County, Connecticut. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing services to students based on individual health care plans
  • Participate in planning and placement team meetings, write goals and objectives for students' IEPs, and communicate with health providers
  • Occasionally ride the bus with assigned students
  • Maintain nursing notes and records
  • Provide timely reports as requested, submit Medicaid documentation, and comply with State Department of Social Services regulations and other relevant laws
  • Provide in-service professional development and relevant nursing materials to the school staff and parents when requested
  • Any other duties as assigned
