Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Irrigation Superintendent to join our team at Catholic Funeral & Cemetery Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of our irrigation systems, ensuring the efficient use of water resources and maintaining the beauty of our cemeteries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement maintenance programs to ensure the optimal functioning of our irrigation systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections of reservoirs, wells, and pump houses to ensure safe conditions and good working order.
  • Manage water use to comply with decree requirements and develop reports to demonstrate trends in water usage.
  • Interact with regulatory agencies, landscape architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
  • Supervise and implement the inspection, repair, replace, adjust, assess, modify, and perform preventative maintenance on sprinkler systems, components, and automatic controllers.

Requirements:

  • Valid Colorado Driver's License.
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent.
  • Certifications in irrigation management and efficiency in customer service orientation.
  • At least 5-7 years of related experience with 2-3 years of lead or supervisory experience preferred.
