Dignity Health now offers an Education Benefit program for eligible employees after 180 days of service. This initiative provides debt relief and student loan assistance to help you achieve your educational aspirations. Full-time employees can receive up to $18,000 over five years, while part-time employees can receive up to $9,000.

Responsibilities
Conduct assessments, deliver, and document respiratory care, including pulmonary hygiene and airway management, while performing necessary diagnostic examinations. Oversee all patients on ventilators and related life support systems. Execute routine blood gas analyses. Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care plans utilizing various respiratory modalities, therapy-driven protocols, and advanced ventilation techniques.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma/GED and completion of an AMA-accredited Respiratory Therapy Program.

Must hold and maintain:
AZ Board of Respiratory Care Examiners License;

Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) from the National Board of Respiratory Care;

American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification;

American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification; and

American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification.

Preferred Qualifications
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Please note that this position requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire.

This ongoing competency is mandated through internal resources; external RQI competency resources are not acceptable for compliance with CommonSpirit Health.

Pay Range

$42.29/hour
