Orlando Health is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Orlando Regional Medical Center. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and supplies, ensuring that all necessary items are available and in good working order.
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during procedures, passing instruments and supplies as needed.
  • Help maintain a safe and organized operating room environment, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
  • Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient care, ensuring that patients are prepared for and recover from surgery smoothly.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a surgical technology program or equivalent training preferred.
  • Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification required; certification in surgical technology or a related field a plus.
  • Minimum one year of surgical technology experience required; dependent on level offered, more experience may be required.
