Job Title: Pharmacy Manager

Walgreens is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead our pharmacy team in providing exceptional patient care and services.

Job Summary:

The Pharmacy Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy, including managing staff, inventory, and customer service. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of pharmacy operations and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, technicians, and support staff
  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering and stocking of medications and supplies
  • Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and laws, including controlled substance laws
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and loyalty
  • Collaborate with store management and other departments to achieve business objectives
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to improve pharmacy operations and services
Requirements:
  • BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D degree from an accredited institution
  • Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district
  • Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire
  • At least 1 year pharmacy experience, including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems, and insurance billing
