We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Summer Safety Management & Operational Excellence Intern. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on-site, full-time, for 12 weeks during the summer months. This is an excellent chance to gain hands-on experience in the field of aviation safety and develop your skills in risk assessment, risk management, and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform tasks that are both technically challenging and educationally stimulating
  • Assist in the identification and assessment of hazards and risks
  • Develop and implement strategies for risk management and mitigation
  • Analyze data and trends to inform safety decisions
  • Collaborate with the engineering staff to ensure a safe and efficient work environment

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Aviation, Accident Investigation, Aviation Safety, Engineering, Systems Engineering, Data Analytics/Business Analytics, or a related field
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA at the time of application
  • Ability to convey technical concepts in written and verbal formats
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Display maturity and a high level of professionalism
  • Previous internship experience is a plus
