Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join our team at the University of Washington Medical Center - Montlake. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures, including setting up and maintaining sterile equipment and supplies.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Perform scrub role and maintain patient safety throughout perioperative care.
  • Support post-operative tasks, including removal of contaminated instruments, decontamination, sterilization, and turnover of the operating room.
Requirements
  • Completion of a Surgical Technologist program and one year of experience assisting clinical staff in a variety of operative procedures in an operating room environment.
  • Registered by the State of Washington as a Surgical Technologist or licensed in the State of Washington as a Licensed Practical Nurse, Registered Nurse, or Physician.
