Surgical Technologist Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Optum. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety during surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures
  • Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and instruments
  • Ensure aseptic technique is maintained throughout the surgical process
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements:
  • Current WA State Surgical Technologist Registration (ST)
  • Current AHA/BLS Certification
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technologists (preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience as a surgical technologist in an acute care setting or a busy multi-specialty ASC (preferred)
