Job Title: Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgical Technologist to join our team at the University of Washington Medical Center. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgical procedures, ensuring a safe and sterile environment for patients and staff.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination during surgical procedures.
  • Assist with patient preparation, positioning, and care during surgical procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of surgical procedures and patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
Requirements:
  • Completion of a Surgical Technologist program and one year of experience assisting clinical staff in a variety of operative procedures in an operating room environment.
  • Registration by the State of Washington as a Surgical Technologist.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
