About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Hardware Engineer to join our team at PSG Global Solutions Careers. As a key member of our clinical development company, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing novel tests and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and run rigorous system characterization and requirements verification protocols.
  • Implement and modify various ASTM standard test systems.
  • Execute tests and analyze data using Python programming.
  • Report and communicate findings in accordance with international medical device regulatory requirements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A BS degree in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with fixture prototyping using 3D printing, CAD, and machine shop tools.
  • Experience with failure analysis and associated mechanical, electrical, and chemical test equipment.
  • Experience programming test systems and testing/analysis scripts.
Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Experience with electrochemical characterization techniques, including cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy.
  • Experience with the implantable medical device regulatory approval process.
  • Experience translating in vivo use conditions into meaningful bench tests.
  • Working knowledge of statistics as applied to test data.
