G2 Software Systems, Inc. is a leading provider of cutting-edge software development solutions for the DoD. We are seeking an experienced Senior Hardware Engineer to join our team in San Diego, CA. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the capability project portfolio in support of a DoD program. Key responsibilities include:

* Performing hardware engineering management, reduction, and analysis of data, designing tests, and laboratory analyses, including scientific analyses and interpretation of research results;
* Performing hardware engineering that includes hardware planning, requirements analysis, design, development, integration, and testing;
* Designing and developing complex electronic systems with an emphasis in military based tactical communication systems.

Requirements:

* Master of Science degree from an accredited college or university in applied science, computing, engineering, mathematics, physics, management information systems, or other related engineering or computer science discipline;
* Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in a similar role;
* US Citizenship and either currently hold or have the ability to obtain Secret Clearance and be TS/SCI Eligible.

Physical Requirements:

* Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer;
* Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times;
* Must be able to navigate each department at the assigned facility.

Location:

* This is a full-time hybrid position. The workforce is required to report physically to the Client office located in San Diego, CA three times a week. Additional days at the office may be required from time to time as required to support the workload or clients request. Travel
