Job Description

Florida SouthWestern State College is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Professor to join our team in the School of Pure and Applied Science. As an Adjunct Professor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to our students, conducting courses within the prescribed curriculum, and providing academic support as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach courses within the prescribed curriculum for students enrolled at the College
  • Prepare and deliver lectures to students
  • Compile, administer, and grade examinations
  • Provide academic assistance to students as needed
Requirements:
  • Doctoral or master's degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education in the teaching discipline or a master's degree with a concentration in the teaching discipline (a minimum of 18 graduate semester credit hours in the teaching discipline)
  • Demonstrated ability to use technology in creating and delivering course content
  • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of the subject area to be taught and currency in the discipline
