Job Title: Pharmacy Manager

Walgreens is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead our pharmacy team in providing exceptional patient care and services. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving business growth through strategic planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of pharmacists and technicians to provide high-quality patient care and services.
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and profitability in the pharmacy.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, OSHA, and state pharmacy laws.
  • Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment to optimize pharmacy operations.
  • Collaborate with store management and other departments to achieve business objectives.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for pharmacy staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
  • Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
  • At least 1 year pharmacy experience, including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software, and technology systems, and insurance billing.
  • Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.
