Job Description

**Job Summary**

The Web Server Specialist will perform activities related to the installation, configuration, management, maintenance and technical support of Web servers, application servers, and other supported platforms. This work requires knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, XML, ASP.NET, C#, and Visual Studio.NET.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Install, configure, and manage Web servers, application servers, and other supported platforms.
  • Perform technical support and troubleshooting for Web servers, application servers, and other supported platforms.
  • Develop and implement Cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS), including Platform as a Service (PaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings.
  • Implement DevOps practices and tools, including Git, Docker, and Kubernetes, as well as Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
  • Develop and implement API development and Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) solutions.

**Requirements**

  • **Networking Knowledge**: Understanding of network protocols, devices, and architectures.
  • **Internet Information Service (IIS)**: Experience with IIS configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting.
  • **User Access Security**: Knowledge of user access security principles and practices.
  • **Encryption and Certificate Management**: Understanding of encryption and certificate management concepts.
  • **SOA**: Familiarity with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles and practices.
  • **Microsoft Azure/AWS - PAAS, IAAS, SAAS**: Experience with Cloud technologies, including PaaS, IaaS, and SaaS offerings.
  • **2-4 years of experience**: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a related field.

**What We Offer**

People Science offers a competitive salary range of $55,000-$85,000 and a dynamic work environment.
