About the Role

MZ Wallace is a leading fashion brand seeking a highly motivated and creative Social Media Marketing Intern to join our team. As a key member of our marketing department, you will play a crucial role in assisting with various aspects of photoshoot production, sample management, and influencer/PR gifting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Photoshoot Support: Assist with photoshoot pre-production, including prop-sourcing, sample coordination, booking messengers, and location research.
  • On-Set Support: Provide support to the Producer and Art Director during social and features photoshoots.
  • Sample Management: Book messengers for prop rentals, coordinate returns post-shoot, and track all creative shipments.
  • Content Creation: Assist in creating engaging TikTok content by actively participating in shooting and editing videos, contributing fresh ideas and creativity to enhance our TikTok presence.
  • Influencer and PR Gifting: Coordinate the fulfillment of influencer and PR gifting.
  • Market Research: Keep a pulse on competitors and the overall ecosystem within the fashion/accessory space.
  • Trend Identification: Help identify trends and opportunities for various marketing channels.
Requirements
  • Working towards a bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly Instagram & TikTok.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative mindset with an eye for design and detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A self-starter and ability to multi-task.
  • Knowledge of social media and marketing trends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Video editing and content creation.
  • Experience with graphic design and web tools (e.g., Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of photography equipment and techniques is a plus.
  • Must be able to commit to 15-25 hours/week.
