Job SummaryWe are seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our team at DaVita Inc. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients with end-stage renal disease. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care, including dialysis treatment, patient education, and support.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including dialysis treatment, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, including measuring and recording vital signs.
- Assist with patient education on kidney dialysis-related topics.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be comfortable working around blood and needles.
- Must be comfortable mixing acid or bicarb.
- Physical and mental ability to work long hours on your feet.
- Willingness to train and work across multiple clinics within the territory as needed.
- Competitive hourly rate: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour.
