Purpose
To perform skilled work in the maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical systems in a chilling station environment.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in job-related training and report any unusual conditions or deficiencies related to equipment or personnel.
  • Conduct safety audits and inspections as needed.
  • Install or repair refrigerant and electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory.
  • Operate various machinery and equipment, ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
  • Perform inspections and maintenance on chiller systems, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  • Collaborate with other trades to support operational systems.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, reporting any hazards immediately.
  • Attend meetings and training sessions as required.

Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED. Five years of experience in the maintenance and repair of electrical or mechanical systems.

Preferred Qualifications
More than five years of relevant experience. Ability to train other personnel. Experience in industrial insulation and welding.

Driving Required
A valid driver's license is required.

Salary Range
$75,000

Working Conditions
Environmental Demands:

  • Use of personal protective equipment as necessary.
  • Work in various weather conditions and temperatures.
  • Exposure to chemical fumes and electrical hazards.

Physical Tasks:

  • Repetitive use of a keyboard and manual dexterity.
  • Climbing stairs and ladders.
  • Lifting and moving objects as required.

Additional Working Conditions:

  • May work in confined spaces and elevated areas.
  • Participation in an on-call program may be required.
