Senior Grid Infrastructure Project Manager

Gridware is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to oversee the deployment of our grid monitoring systems across the United States.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our field installation process, ensuring timely delivery of project deliverables related to device deployment. This includes partnering with the manufacturing team to coordinate device deliveries to the field and working closely with the field operations team to ensure successful installations.
Key Responsibilities- Project/program manage all aspects of our field installation process, ensuring on-time delivery of project deliverables related to device deployment.
- Partner closely with the manufacturing team to coordinate device deliveries to the field and the field operations team to ensure successful installations.
- Develop and optimize processes to manage device deployment and implement resolutions to improve workflow efficiency.
- Prepare reports, progress updates, and other deliverables for utility customers.
- Communicate effectively with the field team and internal partners to ensure everyone has the right information at the right time.
- Capacity and budget planning based on financial/customer demand to create detailed schedules for field operations.
- Guide sourcing, interviewing, screening, and hiring field contractors to support surges in demand.
- Manage logistics for field travel, including hotels and car rentals for field specialists.
- Help create a reliable and efficient training program for field installers.
- 5-10 years of experience in project management, preferably in field operations or deployment environments.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience creating automations for tools and Atlassian product suite experience strongly preferred.
- Experience building, implementing, and managing first-of-a-kind processes.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to coordinate between technical teams and external partners.
- Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Experience in the energy or utilities sector, particularly in grid infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with permitting and regulatory processes for field deployments.
- Flexible hours/hybrid schedule for those in the Bay Area.
