We are seeking a dedicated Sanitation Technician at GFF Career Page, responsible for supporting the Sanitation Supervisor in upholding rigorous food safety and hygiene standards within our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employ appropriate cleaning agents and sanitizers to thoroughly cleanse equipment, surfaces, and facility areas.
- Conduct comprehensive washdowns of machinery and flooring to maintain a pristine environment.
- Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and safety guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with various departments to resolve sanitation and food safety issues.
- Utilize a forklift for various operational tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in a sanitation role.
- High School Diploma or equivalent educational background.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures.
- Experience with Lock-out Tag-out safety measures.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
