Responsibilities:

  • Educate and support caregivers on the diverse aspects of child development, acknowledging individual, cultural, and community variances.
  • Provide culturally sensitive assistance in home settings, natural environments, or through telehealth, employing a coaching approach that fosters the overall health and development of children.
  • Guide caregivers in establishing culturally appropriate routines that enhance the well-being and growth of their children.
  • Collaborate with families to create and implement the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP), ensuring it promotes healthy identities related to race, culture, gender, socio-economic status, and disabilities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with caregivers and work in partnership with community members and the ESIT team to address family needs.
  • Actively participate in team meetings, staff discussions, and peer coaching sessions to enhance team dynamics.
  • Embrace and integrate cultural, racial, linguistic, ethnic, and socio-economic diversity into daily practices, valuing family traditions and languages.
  • Support the development of healthy attachments between caregivers and children.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance standards and policies as outlined by the organization.
  • Inspire and mentor Family Resource Coordinators (FRCs) working with families in the Early Support program.
  • Foster a positive team culture and morale, ensuring a welcoming environment for all staff and families.
  • Coordinate with the Team Lead to make informed decisions regarding team operations and responsibilities.
  • Monitor referral distributions and compliance with intake processes, providing necessary coaching and support.
  • Oversee the performance and quality assurance measures, ensuring compliance with documentation and quality standards.
  • Facilitate collaboration with local school districts to ensure smooth transitions for families moving from Part C to Part B services.
  • Assist FRCs in resource building and partnership development within the community.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with FRCs to provide coaching and performance feedback.
  • Support the hiring and onboarding processes for new FRCs, ensuring they receive the necessary training and development opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of FRC credentials in line with organizational requirements.
  • Participate in leadership and team meetings to contribute to the overall mission of the organization.
