Patient Support Associate

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mental Health Tech I to join our team at WakeMed. As a Mental Health Tech I, you will work closely with a Clinical Nurse to provide direct patient care and management of patients with medical and behavioral issues.
In this role, you will perform a range of tasks, including administering medications, documenting patient information, and participating in crisis interventions. You will also provide support to patients and their families, helping them to navigate the healthcare system and access resources and services.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and has a strong commitment to excellence. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A background in mental health is preferred but not required.
