PeaceHealth is in search of a skilled Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner to provide care in a rural setting.

Ideal Candidate Profile
- Certified Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner with a passion for rural healthcare.
- Experience in a primary care environment is advantageous.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a dedicated primary care team.
Practice Features
- Comprehensive Family Medicine practice (no obstetrics).
- Flexible full-time employment options available.
- Modern facility equipped for critical access healthcare.
- Standard clinic hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
- No on-call responsibilities.
- Average patient load of 15 per day.
- Spacious shared office environment with natural light.
- Dedicated Clinical Medical Assistant for each provider.
- Strong support from nursing staff.
- Utilization of EPIC electronic medical records.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments, ensuring quality patient care.
- Collaborate with medical staff for consultations and referrals.
- Guide nursing and support staff in patient care.
- Prescribe medications and manage ongoing treatment plans.
- Educate patients and families on preventive health and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with standards.
- Integrate new knowledge into clinical practice for continuous improvement.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
Education
- Must meet educational requirements for ARNP licensure in the relevant state.
Experience and Credentials
- Required: Nurse Practitioner license in the applicable state.
- Required: Drug Enforcement Administration registration.
- Required: Valid driver's license with proof of insurance.
- Required upon hire: Basic Life Support certification.
- Preferred: Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
