Practice Features

Job Responsibilities
Within the defined scope of practice, the Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for conducting advanced nursing evaluations, clinical assessments, and managing medication prescriptions and follow-up care for patients. This role also includes educating patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and address health promotion and disease prevention needs of the community while delivering high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with medical staff for consultations and referrals as necessary.
- Guide nursing and support staff in patient care activities.
- Prescribe medications and manage ongoing treatment plans, including ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding preventive health and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with established standards.
- Integrate new knowledge from professional development into clinical practice.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
Education
- Required: Must meet educational criteria for obtaining ARNP licensure in the relevant state.
Experience and Credentials
- Required: Nurse Practitioner licensure in the applicable state.
- Required: DEA registration.
- Required: Valid driver's license with proof of insurance.
- Required upon hire: Basic Life Support certification.
- Preferred: Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
