- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal patient care and team performance.
- Develop and implement educational programs for nursing staff, promoting ongoing learning and professional development.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives, analyzing data and implementing changes to improve patient care and team performance.
- Current nursing licensure in the State of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited School of Nursing, or Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited School of Nursing, or Nursing diploma (three-year program) with relevant experience.
- Minimum two years of nursing experience, with a BSN, or three years of nursing experience with a Nursing Diploma, or four years of nursing experience with an ADN.
This position requires the ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects. This job class may contain positions that are security sensitive and subject to the provisions of Texas Education Code § 51.215.
