Requirements
  • Current nursing licensure in the State of Texas.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited School of Nursing, or Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited School of Nursing, or Nursing diploma (three-year program) with relevant experience.
  • Minimum two years of nursing experience, with a BSN, or three years of nursing experience with a Nursing Diploma, or four years of nursing experience with an ADN.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects. This job class may contain positions that are security sensitive and subject to the provisions of Texas Education Code § 51.215.
